I am Mehmet, a CBT Hypnotherapist and Mindfulness Practitioner, supporting professionals, leaders, and individuals from all walks of life on their journey toward greater mental and emotional well-being.

Whether you are navigating high-pressure responsibilities, personal challenges, or simply seeking more balance, clarity, and resilience, I offer a safe and supportive space to help you move forward.

I am a GHR-registered (GHR-9585) and NCFE-accredited (L5 Dip - CBH) therapist, working with a personalised, evidence-based approach that integrates therapy, hypnosis, coaching, and mindfulness. My work focuses on practical and sustainable strategies that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and meaningful change in everyday life.

With over 25 years of senior leadership experience, my professional journey has always placed me at the centre of human and public relations — working directly with people, building trust, and supporting individuals and organisations during times of challenge and change.

My academic background, including a PhD in Efficient Leadership, and hands-on experience in the digital, technology, and cyber security fields, allow me to connect with clients facing the demands of today's fast-paced, constantly connected world.

Alongside my professional work, I am also an amateur Ney (Turkish bamboo flute) player. The Ney's meditative and grounding qualities reflect my belief in calm, presence, and inner balance — values that gently inform my therapeutic approach.

The discovery call is a relaxed, no-obligation 20-minute conversation by phone or video. It's a chance for you to share what's on your mind, ask any questions, and for us to explore whether working together would be the right fit. There's no pressure — it's simply a conversation.

Every person is different, and the number of sessions depends on your individual goals and circumstances. Some clients notice meaningful change in 4–6 sessions; others prefer longer-term support. We'll discuss a realistic plan during the discovery call and review it as we progress.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) works consciously — helping you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours through structured techniques. Hypnotherapy works at a deeper, subconscious level, using a relaxed trance state to access and reframe ingrained patterns. When combined as CBT Hypnotherapy (CBH), the two approaches reinforce each other powerfully.

Hypnotherapy is completely safe and you remain in full control at all times. The hypnotic state is simply a deeply focused, relaxed state of awareness — similar to being absorbed in a book or daydream. You cannot be made to do or say anything against your will. Many people find the sessions deeply calming and restorative.

Yes. Sessions are available in both English and Turkish. I understand the particular value of being able to work in your native language, especially when exploring complex emotions and experiences. Please let me know your preference when you get in touch.

Yes. Online sessions are available worldwide via secure video call and are just as effective as in-person sessions. Many clients prefer the convenience and comfort of working from home. In-person sessions are available at my therapy rooms in Barnet (North London) and Soho (Central London).

The first session is primarily an assessment and getting-to-know-you conversation. I'll ask about your background, what's brought you to therapy, and what you hope to achieve. Together we'll agree on an approach and set some initial goals. You don't need to prepare anything — just come as you are.
